A Tragedy that showed love & compassion
July 19, 2010
I was watching the news late last night and I was very moved by a tragedy. I tried to take the positive out of a very sad situation. What moved me was this family who showed so much love & shared their love with the world.
This happened in Reseda Ca. A Grandmother & here Grandson were in their car in their driveway when a US Marine was drunk & hit their car. The Grandmother past away & the Grandson was in critical care but will fully recover. They had a very large family & the Grandmother was very involved within her community & homeland.
The entire family of the victim, family friends, & the entire neighborhood came together in support, love, & prayer. When the Son spoke he showed so much love & compassion. He send a message to all viewers saying, “ Please tell everyone that you love as often as you can tell them, every moment you have, let them know how much they are loved” The son also demonstrated zero hate towards the Marine. He said having hate within you will not bring your loved one back. Very powerful. This tells me that this is a very evolved family with open hearts & raised well.
That is my message as well, today & everyday. Always let your loved ones know how much you love them. Even when you disagree or get in arguments let them know & always take the opportunity to tell them you love them. Life is precious & we never know what the next minute will bring.
Compassion & love

Thank you so much for sharing this story.
Love to all,
